| Job Description | Developing software to meet client specifications across a range of development platforms. Duties will include developing the specification with the client and generating functional design specifications and costed proposals. Strong PHP programming skills are essential. Abilities in other languages, especially C#, would be an asset. The role will require moving between (and learning new) programming languages. |
| Personal specification/Degree requirements | The applicant must work well in a small team. This includes the ability to work independently under their own initiative whilst liasing with the team at project meetings. The applicant must understand and use standard programming practices such as code re-use and error handling. IT skills across Windows and Linux platforms would be beneficial. The applicant must be able to communicate effectively in written (including email), verbal and face-to-face forms with other team members and clients. |
