More Solutions have developed some remote support software that allows
us to control your PC from our office, without the need for a site visit.
This software simply installs on your PC and then connects to us via your
Internet connection (ADSL/Broadband is best however dialup also works).
We can then see your computer screen as if we were sitting there with you,
this allows us to either talk you through the problem or even take control
of your mouse and keyboard and fix the problem for you.
The software can only be initiated by you, so there is no issues with security,
we can't spy on you! The software will only connect to us and we insist on you
telephoning us before you try to make a connection, so you know who is controlling
your PC.
If you need to download the Remote Support Tool simply use one of the links below,
you will then need to run the file in order to install the software on your PC,
(it must be installed on the PC you need support with). Once installed you will
have a new section under your Start -> Programs section called More Solutions Support.
From there you can initiate the remote connection.
We provide two versions of the download; the installer itself as an executable which you
can just download and run to start the support tool installation, and the same file
compressed inside a Zip file which you can extract using programs like
WinZip (shareware) or
FilZip (freeware). Because the setup program
is itself compressed, the Zip file isn't any smaller so go for the executable version
if you can. The Zip file is there as an alternative if you have problems downloading
the executable (for example your firewall not allowing it).

We have found the Remote Support Tool invaluble for reducing our customer support costs,

- IP Address details for each of your support staff connections, (note that a number of support staff can be on the same IP address)if a dynamic IP address is being used, you will need to setup a DNS setting to overcome this, we can assist if this is the case.
